Dr Bharat (Baz) Gadhvi

General Practitioner

Dr Gadhvi graduated from the University of London, United Kingdom in 1994 with his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery. He has been a GP since 2000. Dr Gadhvi moved to Australia over 10 years ago, where he obtained both his AMC Certificate, Australian Medical Council and his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His special interests include Paediatrics, Indigenous Health, Skin Cancer and Sleep Apnoea.

Fiona Lewis

Practice Manager

Fiona has spent most of her working life in the health sector, and enjoys the many varied challenges of establishing and running a medical practice from inception to the vibrant community that develops.
After years of living and working in the Cairns region, she is acutely aware of the vast discrepancies in health amongst our multicultural population and is excited to be part of a practice whose primary focus is closing this gap in health outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Dr Arno Ebner

Paediatrician

Dr Arno Ebner provides regular Paediatric Clinics (by appointment). His professional interests include Paediatric haematology and oncology, palliative care, rheumatology, chronic pain, behavioural, allergy, asthma and infectious disease.
Dr Arno Ebner studied medicine at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz/Germany and Albert Ludwig’s University in Freiburg/Germany.
He specialised in Paediatrics at the University Children’s Hospital in Greifswald/Germany with part of his training at the Tulane Hospital for Children in New Orleans/USA and at McMaster University in Hamilton/Canada.
He has worked in child nutrition and immunology and neonatology research in Germany and for the German Doctors for Developing Countries in Manila/Philippines and Chittagong/Bangladesh.
He graduated as a specialist consultant in Germany and New Zealand and became a Fellow of the RACP in 2012. From 2008-2015 he worked as a Paediatrician and senior lecturer in Timaru and Wellington / New Zealand in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Haematology and Oncology before moving to rural Australia in Mount Gambier and Traralgon 2015-2018.
